The recent financial disasters -- from the collapse of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to the historic drop in the Stock Market. More than enough Americans have lost their jobs since January. Home foreclosures are skyrocketing, and home values are plunging. Gas prices are at an all-time high. I would like to know your "voice" on this matter?

I'm just numb. This is the absolute worst financial week in modern history. Wake up and put one foot in front of the other. Then try to do it again. Beautiful country up in your parts.
Well hi there Cheryl. I haven't seen you in a while so first it's great to have you posting. The economy is certainly in bad shape and is probably going to get much worse before all is said and done. BUT people are still buying and selling real estate. Our jobs are still to find these folks and help them.
Rick - I do understand how you feel about how it is the worst financial week in history.
Broker Bryant - Yes it's been a long while. I haven't post cause I wanted to put new information in my post. Boy am I with you on this with the worst economy I have seen in this country. I know it will get worst before it get better but how much more worst can it get?
Hi Cheryl, hope you had a great Vacation, welcome back. I have been trying to comment on all the Posts that are focusing on the Doom & Gloom. Since you asked here I go: I must be one of the few that see this as a fantastic Opportunity. Times like this is when Millionairs and Billionairs are made. Every one is panicking, sellers, some of the Realtors, some of the Economists and some of the Politicians. This is when you can buy, stocks & real estate at bottom feeder prices by being strong and then patiently wait till the Market Turns around just like in the 80s and do very well. I wish I had money to buy right now.
Hi Cheryl,
While the turbulence in the market is scary, I also think this can be a good opportunity for realtors and investors. People will want to move their investments from stock and may consider real estate. Real Estate is still a good long term investment and with the low interest rates and good prices, it's definitely a good time to buy.

Hi Endre - We did have a good vacation trip. I agree it would be a good time to invest either with stocks or real estate. I wish we have money too.
Monica and Kevin - It is a scary market! I agree with you but there still some buyer who will not made a move until they see some changes in market.
