Do you believe it? It's already September!
Wow! This year had gone by fast. To fast for me. This morning we woke up to frosts. We had our first frosts and it cold this morning. I had to turn on the heater to just get the chill out of the air. The current temperature right now is 42. The high for us today will be 56 to the low of 36 tonight. That's cold! Especially, here. The temperature drop down to the 30 last night. 32! It will be cold all this week for us here in Absarokee, Montana.
My husband told me, when he came home last night from "work" that it's "snowing" up on the top of mountain. Where at? Stillwater mine where he work at. Snowing! He told me it was very cold at work for him yesterday. That this morning he had to wear his coat. There was frost on my husband truck wind shield this morning.
Discover autumn weather for yourselves under the "Big Sky of Montana." Autumn on the rivers is a time of solitude and tranquility especially for fishing. Fishing! Yes, fishing. Autumn is the "time" of year for fishing in the Big Sky of Montana. Fishing spots are uncrowded! I mean uncrowded. The cooler water temperatures brings up the big one's from the rivers and lakes "trout" that come up from the depths of the water.
Big Sky of Montana is a rare and special place to come. The Big Sky, open land, majestic mountains, like the Absarokee-Beartooth and friendly people combine to make Montana the best place to visit even live. I would like to invite you to "explore" the Big Sky country and discover all the treasures we have to offer here.

You have frost already? Yikes- nI hope you like cold weather. It's a comfortable 88 degrees in Maryland today!
Ellie - I love it! The closer we get to the fall weather the better it is. I love the cool air more then the heat. Yes, we did have frost this morning! It will be cold again tonight.
Frost? Montana sound lovely. But I'd rather be in a warm country. We have winter in New York but not for a while. It's 80 something degrees today. I do not look forward to winter. Not with the price of oil.
Rosalinda - Yes, I couldn't believe it when I woke up to the frost. I had to turn on the heater to get warm. All this week will be cooler. Which it's a nice break from the heat for me. I agree with you about the price of oil.
I guess I should stop complaining about the high sixties today on Cape Cod. Personnally I love the seasons and the coming of the cool air.
Weichert - That's O.K. I know I needed a break from the heat myself. Go ahead and complaining. I love the four season! The one I love is autumn!
Your right Cheryl the fall absolutely is the nicest time of the year! But it doesn't sound like you get much of a fall if its already frosting and snowing where you are....Thanks for the comment and keep busy selling....
Ted
Wiechert - I know there's not much of a fall. The snow is so awesome! I love winter too. Thank for your comment
Cheryl - It was 91 here today! LOL Guess that cool air is something we can look forward to. I'm SO over the heat this summer. It's been miserable here.
Enjoy the seasons. They are God's way of reminding us of all things good.
Carol - I am ready for the Fall weather! This summer been hot. But now I am ready for a cool down. I will enjoy the seasons. You right it's God way of reminding us of all things good.
Hey Cheryl, I was not going to comment because you would think I am being a Smart Ass...Anyway I am originally from Boston, MA. Four seasons and all (including snow). With that said we are still having a heat wave in Marina del Rey, CA (78 degrees) day time and (65 degrees) at night.
BTW last year we went to Three Rivers, CA about an hour and a half driving from LA ... in Shorts and T-Shirt in May and there was not only the General Sherman & Grant Trees (oldest & largest) But Snow:))) Learned our lesson how lucky we are here.I am with you you live in a wonderful area, I love all your pictures.
Endre - Thanks! My mom live in Lynn MA. And I am here in Montana. She been telling me about the weather there, and I let her know about the weather here. It feel so good to get a break from the heat. I am so ready for the fall season. I am looking forward to winter too. Then I will be ready for the summer next year again. We take alot of drive in this part of the country and I take picture along the way to show the wonderful area we live at. Next week we are taking our vacation Sept. 18. Which I am going to take pictures along the way there too.
